METAL STAMPING LEVEL II CURRICULUM
Skills Training for Press Operators & Team Leaders

PMA Educational Foundation presents the Metal Stamping Level II Curriculum. The curriculum is a 30-hour classroom course teaching the basics of metal stamping, plus an additional 20-hours of "hands-on" application exercises. This "curriculum-in-a-box" can be used in-plant, in-school or as part of an apprenticeship program. The curriculum requires the use of actual equipment, instruments and materials handling devices. Successful completers may attain recognition from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

The Metal Stamping Level II Curriculum consists of 7 learning modules developed by industry experts and designed to meet the standards of the National Institute for Metalworking Skills. This turn-key training package provides the instructor one-stop shopping for teaching. Instructors need not be professional teachers but should be familiar with metal stamping processes and equipment.
