Boeckman Elected PMA Dallas/Fort Worth District Chair

DALLAS, TX — September 12, 2002 — Wayne Boeckman of Texas Metal Spinning Inc., Saginaw, TX, has been named chair of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex District of the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA).

PMA, headquartered in Cleveland, OH, is the full-service trade association representing the $41-billion metalforming industry of North America—the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating and other value-added processes. Its nearly 1,300 member companies include metal stampers, fabricators, spinners, slide formers and roll formers as well as suppliers of equipment, materials and services to the industry. Members are located in 30 countries, with the majority found in North America-in 41 states of the United States as well as Canada and Mexico.

PMA’s districts provide metalformers an opportunity to meet locally with their peers and discuss business, technical and management subjects at meetings. PMA has 22 districts across the United States and Canada.

The district chair presides at district meetings throughout the year, establishes programs and promotes and maintains membership among companies in the district. Other officers elected to PMA’s Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex District include Dan Fergus, Genesee Stampings, Inc.; Bill Nelson, Quick-Way Stampings, Inc.; Jeff Masingill, Genesee Stampings, Inc.; Jerry Ostand, H & O Die Supply, Inc.; and Steve Sikes, AMSCO Steel Co.
