December 2nd, 2011 by Brad Kuvin

A record 35,457 people attended Fabtech 2011 last month in Chicago, a 35-percent increase over the previous Chicago-held show in 2009. Several exhibitors received record lead counts, one noting that, “The results from this show should prove to skeptics that manufacturing is alive and well in North America.” Says first-time exhibitor Jim Gillespie, of Fast-Rite Intl., a distributor of stampings and fasteners: “We received more than 500 leads, and already have begun receiving orders (generated by our exhibit at Fabtech).” Plan now to attend Fabtech 2012 in Las Vegas—learn more at www.fabtechexpo.com.
