the 2011 Membership Growth Award
The Membership Growth Award is presented annually to the district with the largest net percentage increase in the number of manufacturing member companies. Despite the current economic climate, this year’s winner of the membership growth award was able to gain 4 new manufacturing members and retain all of their current manufacturing member companies from June 2010 to May 2011. This district consistently provides PMA Headquarters with member leads and makes it a priority to promote membership in PMA at all of their meetings and activities. Congratulations to the Ohio Valley Distict!
Networking Close to Home
The Ohio Valley District of PMA serves metalforming companies in the greater Ohio Valley area. Our district typically meets monthly and our meetings range in subject matter based on the interests of our members. Our programs provide excellent opportunities for networking locally, increasing sales, expanding professional expertise, and meeting customer demands with innovative methods. Additionally, attendees have the ability to build new, useful business relationships as well as gain valuable recognition for you and your company.
- PMA announces the myPMA Risk Manager, a members-only comprehensive library in English and Spanish of nearly 2,000 safety policies and procedures, posters and training documents with all the tools to build a complete loss-prevention program. Learn more.
- The MetalForming Job Center was created in partnership with the Precision Metalforming Association and the PMA Educational Foundation to connect job seekers with employers in the metal stamping, forming, fabricating and tool & die industries.
- Ohio Manufacturers' Association—To improve business conditions in Ohio and drive down the cost of doing business for Ohio manufacturers, the OMA works directly with elected officials, regulatory agencies, the judiciary and media.
