Program Ideas
District success is largely determined by the success of District meetings. This section of VolunteerNet has been developed to provide Officers with new ideas regarding educational program topics and forums that meet the needs of today's membership. Program topics have been divided into three categories:
Senior Level Programs appeal to senior-level people and focus on areas such as material supply, industry forecast, tax issues, industry trends, global capital, benchmarking, etc.
Mid Management Level Programs are geared toward employees with mid-management responsibilities and focus on areas such as cell manufacturing, sales and marketing, OSHA and ergonomics, advancements in technology, costing models, etc.
Production and Manufacturing Level Programs address manufacturing areas and focus on tooling, die estimation, slide forming, sensors, designing and building progressive dies, rollforming, bending technology, etc.
General Programs are those that appeal to all members. They cover general interests of the industry.
Offer a PMA National Seminar within your local District - More than 50 different seminars are available, or we can work with you to develop a new seminar agenda that meets the specific needs of the local companies. Holding a national seminar can help your district build its database and develop interest in the local district meetings. Contact Erin Peterman 216-901-8800 (epeterman@pma.org).
