PMAEF is the first educational foundation in the U.S. to partner with the National Association of Manufacturers and the U.S. Department of Commerce's Office of Technology Policy in a promotional campaign aimed toward young people. The campaign encourages young people to prepare for the manufacturing jobs of tomorrow—today! It launched in October, 2000 as "GetTech" with public service announcements, a kid-friendly website, an 800 number and support materials mailed to over 16,000 educators in the U.S. 

The PMA Educational Foundation revamped it's own website to be more "kid-appealing" and links to the "GetTech" site. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for the Foundation and the metalforming industry to ignite change within today's students.
