Event Details

The PMA Twin Cities District will host Gerry W. Faust, Ph.D. to present on how problem-solving can make organizations and individuals more successful.

Most organizations allow too many problems to go unsolved because employees simply are not well-versed in problem-solving. This discussion will address the issue of problem-solving at all levels of the organization. We'll discover the five reasons why most people do not solve their biggest problems, and how to overcome problem-solving deficiencies.

This program is designed to give you the tools and insights that will improve your problem-solving in any situation. Participants will learn:

  • Empowerment – how and when to empower responsible people
  • The four prerequisites for effective empowerment – how to develop the judgment of your team at all levels in the organization
  • Developing judgment – several proven ways to develop judgment that any leader, manager or supervisor can implement today

After Dr. Faust’s presentation, stay for dinner and networking held on site in the Hennepin Technical Dining Center.
