Responsible Problem-Solving: A Key to Successful Organizations
9000 Brooklyn Blvd.
Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
The PMA Twin Cities District will host Gerry W. Faust, Ph.D. to present on how problem-solving can make organizations and individuals more successful.
Most organizations allow too many problems to go unsolved because employees simply are not well-versed in problem-solving. This discussion will address the issue of problem-solving at all levels of the organization. We'll discover the five reasons why most people do not solve their biggest problems, and how to overcome problem-solving deficiencies.
This program is designed to give you the tools and insights that will improve your problem-solving in any situation. Participants will learn:
- Empowerment – how and when to empower responsible people
- The four prerequisites for effective empowerment – how to develop the judgment of your team at all levels in the organization
- Developing judgment – several proven ways to develop judgment that any leader, manager or supervisor can implement today
