Presenters Stuart Keeler, Ed Tarney and Peter Ulintz will provide you the necessary information you need during this one-day seminar to make significant improvements to your company's production performance.
Peter Ulintz, Manager, Advanced Product Development with Anchor Manufacturing Group will begin the day with presentations on tooling and design principles and press selection.
Ed Tarney, Customer Technical Support, Coating Considerations Manager, Erasteel. Ed will present on the topic of Tool Materials and Coatings and will review the basic properties of tool steels commonly used in drawing operations, including forming dies, punches, trim tooling, etc.
Stuart P. Keeler, President, Keeler Technologies LLC. Keeler will present on the topic of Sheetmetal & Lubrication for Deep Draw. Topics to be addressed include how higher strength affects stretching, bending, and cup drawing; springback; dimensional variation; sheared edge tears, and forming speed. Lubrication topics include coefficient of friction, surface conditions, heat, coated products, and new lubricant concepts.
