CLEVELAND, OH—September 9, 2008—The fifth edition of the METALFORM Mexico tradeshow, scheduled for November 11-13, 2008, at CentroBanamex in Mexico City, will feature activities that address the changing competitive landscape and ever-present workforce development problems that have arisen due to the country’s sharp increase in the number of suppliers of stamped metal parts. During three days of exhibits, attendees will view the latest products and technologies displayed by nearly 125 equipment manufacturers and service providers. New exhibitors will address the needs of the fast-growing fabricating segment by promoting cutting, bending and other fabricating equipment. The educational conference held in conjunction with the exhibits also has been expanded to offer afternoon as well as morning sessions. Topic content has been expanded as well to include tracks on safety and productivity. The popular tool and die track will remain as will sessions on pressroom essentials and advanced technologies. Since METALFORM Mexico’s inception in 2004, the exhibition has grown by 34 percent and the conference has supported the educational needs of nearly 500 engineers, managers and production employees. MetalForming magazine, the primary promotional partner for METALFORM, has amassed a circulation of 10,000 qualified readers of its Mexico publication and is now producing more Spanish-language editions that feature increased local content. Those interested in attending METALFORM Mexico can register online at www.metalform.com/mexico. METALFORM Mexico alternates each year between Mexico City and Monterrey, effectively covering the entire Mexican metalforming market. The show is sponsored by the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), the full-service trade association representing the $91-billion metalforming industry of North America, and co-organized by Trade Show Consulting (TSC), which has been producing shows in Mexico since 1992.
