Cleveland, OH--November 24, 2003--METALFORM, North America’s most respected, results-oriented stamping and fabricating exposition, carries its tradition of success to Louisville to debut its regional trade show series. Presented by the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), METALFORM Louisville will take place from March 30-April 1, 2004 at the Kentucky International Convention Center. Louisville, with one of the nation’s highest manufacturing employment growth rates, was selected as the exhibition site because it exemplifies the hotbed of manufacturing. More than 250 exhibitors will encompass 40,000 sq. ft. of the convention center for PMA’s first regional exposition. METALFORM Louisville offers attendees the opportunity to gain valuable information to meet customer expectations and improve company performance as well as learn cost-effective solutions and practical ideas to maintain a competitive edge. Thousands of top executives, engineers and manufacturing professionals will be in attendance, looking for solutions to improve their productivity and profitability. PMA will present seven Awards of Excellence on March 30, honoring innovators in the areas of training, quality, productivity, safety, design, education and process control. Additionally, the Symposium, METALFORM’s educational component, is available to attendees each day of the exhibition. A collection of nearly 50 technical sessions on cost-effective solutions and practical ideas to give participants a competitive edge, presentations range from fundamentals for beginners to advanced concepts for experienced metalformers. Introduction of the new regional METALFORM exhibitions was approved by PMA’s Board of Directors in February 2002 as part of its response to the changing needs of its exhibitors by implementing a 24-month show strategy comprised of one large, must-see biennial METALFORM exhibition, scaled-down Regional show(s) with limited booth sizes and an annual MetalMecánica exhibition for those who are interested in targeting the Mexican market. Since its inception in 1981, METALFORM has been the most focused metalforming event in the industry, showcasing stamping, tool and die, fabricating, metal spinning, roll forming, slide forming and other related metalforming technologies.
