William E. Gaskin, CAE, is president of the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), a 501 (c)(6) trade association representing the $91 billion dollar metalforming industry, the industry that produces precision sheet metal components and assemblies found in autos, appliances, computers, and thousands of other applications. Gaskin serves as president and secretary of the PMA Educational Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit foundation and is president and secretary of PMA Services, Inc., the Association’s for-profit subsidiary.

Gaskin first joined the Association staff in 1977 as a Staff Representative, and has served as District Coordinator and Director of Government Relations. He was named Vice President in 1981 and Executive Vice President in 1982.  Gaskin became Executive Director of the PMA Educational Foundation upon its inception in 1996. In November 2000, he was named president and secretary of PMA and its affiliated organizations.
