EVENT DETAILS

Join the PMA Tennessee District at T. J. Snow Company, Inc. for an informative presentation on resistance welding, followed by demonstrations of resistance-welding methods and a plant tour. Basic electrode selection criteria and development of a welding schedule will be included.

Presentation will include:

  • Basics of resistance welding
  • Capabilities of capacitive discharge welding machines capabilities
  • Welder maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Handouts of valuable reference material

Demonstration stations will include:

  • Capacitive-discharge wedding
  • Weld-schedule development
  • Nut-welding detection system
  • Electrode selection
  • Pinch-point protection devices

Advanced registration is required. Event is limited to the first 42 registrants.
