Join the PMA Tennessee District at T. J. Snow Company, Inc. for an informative presentation on resistance welding, followed by demonstrations of resistance-welding methods and a plant tour. Basic electrode selection criteria and development of a welding schedule will be included.
Presentation will include:
- Basics of resistance welding
- Capabilities of capacitive discharge welding machines capabilities
- Welder maintenance and troubleshooting
- Handouts of valuable reference material
Demonstration stations will include:
- Capacitive-discharge wedding
- Weld-schedule development
- Nut-welding detection system
- Electrode selection
- Pinch-point protection devices
