Company Description

Middleville Tool & Die’s manufacturing capabilities include progressive & transfer press stamping (60 to 1100 ton), manual & robotic welding (resistance, MIG, TIG, Plasma, Laser), tapping, riveting, automated & hand assembly.

MTD is IATF:16949 certified and has a state of the art quality lab. Our commitment to LEAN principals has allowed us to continually find new ways to drive waste out of our manufacturing processes.

Producing parts from low carbon steel, AHSS, UHSS, aluminum and stainless steel in gages ranging from .020” to .314” (0.5mm – 8mm) MTD has the requisite experience to support the needs of our customers no matter what industry they serve.

MTD specializes in the simulation, design, and build of progressive dies, line dies and transfer dies for our in-house production needs as well as for our contract tooling customers.
Utilizing our in-house FEA software (PamStamp) MTD is capable of full product and process simulations. Tooling designs are completed by our seasoned tooling design engineers using SolidWorks software.

MTD’s structured design review process solicits input from a cross functional team of designers, tool makers, engineers, manufacturing and quality experts to ensure that the proposed process will meet or exceed the most stringent requirements.

As a manufacturer of engineered products, MTD’s proprietary and patented manufacturing methods solve many of the industries most complex problems. Our product engineers, sales engineers and AME team work side by side with our customers design teams, learning the important nuisances of each product and how it functions. Our ability and flexibility to integrate directly with our customers engineering team has helped us earn the reputation of a trusted supplier partner to our customers.
MTD’s investment into early involvement in new projects is second to none in the industry. We have dedicated the necessary resources to work through important design and manufacturing details early in the development cycle, eliminating the need for late design and process changes.
