Want to know the latest about the automotive industry?
Then join the East Michigan District at the 2019 North American International Auto Show on January 22. Receive a guided tour of the show from Mike Wall, director of automotive analysis at IHS Markit. Before we hit the auto show floor, Mike will give an overview of the auto industry and current issues that will impact companies serving the industry. While at the auto show, Mike will point out and explain the latest trends and technologies on display.
In addition to Mike, Erin Riffle from PMA will join the district to discuss METALFORM EDU, PMA’s comprehensive online training system specifically designed for the metalforming industry. Erin will give a demonstration of METALFORM EDU courses, discuss the benefits of implementing a training program and answer questions.
Speakers
Mike Wall, Director of Automotive Analysis, IHS Markit 
Mike Wall serves as the director of automotive analysis for the Automotive Group at IHS Markit. He brings more than two decades of financial analysis, forecasting, consulting and manufacturing experience to Automotive at IHS Markit, with a primary focus on assisting automakers, suppliers and financial firms in their evaluation and understanding of the auto industry, as well as in-depth analysis of vehicle markets and trends. Quoted frequently in the media on a variety of automotive topics, he has delivered presentations on the outlook for the automotive industry to company executives and other interest groups, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna, Austria. Mike graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in Finance and later earned the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Erin Riffle, Workforce Development and METALFORM EDU Lead, Precision Metalforming Association 
Erin Riffle is the workforce development and METALFORM EDU lead at the Precision Metalforming Association. Previously, she worked with the PMA Educational Foundation as an development associate. Erin has a Master's degree in nonprofit administration and has a passion for education and training.
