The PMA New England District is proud to host Bill Hickey, president of Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp., to discuss the impact of the Section 232 steel and aluminum tariffs, NAFTA, currency issues with China and other trade issues affecting the manufacturing sector of the U.S. economy.

After his presentation, attendees will take part in a plant tour of Clifford Metals.

Bill Hickey, President, Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp.
Bill Hickey is president of Lapham-Hickey Steel Corp., a steel service center founded in 1926. This family-owned and operated company has seven locations with approximately 600 employees. Lapham-Hickey is ranked as one of the top 50 service centers in the United States. He currently is a member of the Chairman’s Emeritus Council. Bill was appointed a position to ITAC-12, which is an advisory committee to the Department of Commerce and the United States Trade Representative. He held the position of chairman of the committee for four years and remains an active member. Bill is a trustee for the PMA Educational Foundation and has spoken at numerous PMA events over the years. He was named 2012 Service Center Executive of the Year by Metal Center News.
