Join us as we kick off 2020 with an event on Thursday, February 6 at Dayton Rogers in Columbia, SC. Learn from PMA Southeast District Officer and Meco Corporation Sales Engineer, Jeff Fredline, as he presents on the topic of press maintenance and safety. Additionally, take a tour of Dayton Rogers, a full-service metal stamping and metal fabrication supplier with multiple locations across the United States.
This event includes a presentation and a plant tour.
Registration is limited to the first 40 attendees.
Speaker
Jeff Fredline, Sales Engineer, Meco Corporation
Jeff is an active member of the Precision Metalforming Association, serving on both the Southeast and Tennessee District Boards. He is a well-known speaker at PMA’s technical seminars, the annual safety conference and FABTECH. For the last 10 years, Jeff has trained on a private basis for industry leaders such as General Motors, Chrysler, Whirlpool, General Electric, BAE Systems and more. He has a bachelor’s degree and has earned journeyman status in the machine repair industry.
Jeff will present a condensed version of his popular seminar for operators, die setters, engineers and maintenance personnel. The presentation will cover:
• How to maximize uptime, even with less-than-perfect machinery
• The Theory of the Box
• Safe metal stamping press operations
• A full understanding of the design and use of metal stamping processes
• Efficient and practical preventive maintenance inspection procedures
