West Michigan District: Virtual Executive Roundtable

Virtual Meeting
Event Details
PMA's West Michigan District is excited to host its 16th Annual Executive Roundtable event on Wednesday, December 2. In typical or “normal” times, this annual event brings dozens of company executives who operate in the metalforming industry together for a morning of networking, idea sharing, discussions and brainstorming on the business topics most pressing to metalformers. However, we will remember 2020 as anything but normal. As none of us have been immune from the impact of COVID-19, the PMA West Michigan board concluded that this year may be as important as any to bring our metalforming executives together.
To that end, we have created a virtual PMA Executive Roundtable that will offer helpful insights and information as we close out 2020 and move forward in 2021.
Our session will allow participants to hear from our political advocacy partner The Franklin Partnership and PMA leaders, and to share insights. We expect to offer these as discussions with ample time for Q&A.
With one of the most polarizing election years in recent history soon to be behind us, our discussions will offer a look into what metalformers can expect post-election.
- We will welcome back our friends John Guzik/Omar Nashashibi, founding members of The Franklin Partnership, to provide a political update and what can be expected as we look forward. They work closely with PMA and member companies to analyze, develop and execute legislative strategies in Washington, D.C.
- We also will hear from David Klotz, PMA’s president, who will share how PMA is assisting its member companies toward competitiveness and profitability.
- Jeff Umlor, director of engineering at Walker Tool & Die and PMA West Michigan District board chair, will share what the West MI PMA district has been up to, anticipated plans for 2021, and how you can get plugged in and participate.
- Material commodity updates and other insights from a few sources, plus Q&A throughout the morning.
Benefits to those who attend include:
- Exchanging views, experiences and ideas with peer industry leaders
- Discussions on the key business conditions and environments surrounding the metalforming industry that impact your company
- Albeit virtual, networking and establishing valuable relationships with local West Michigan metalformers
- Learning more about the positive impact PMA is having on the metalforming industry
We are confident that you will find this event informative and timely, and we encourage you to attend.
