A One-Stop Shop for Suppliers and Manufacturers: PMA Twin Cities Suppliers Night to be held on October 3

Event Helps Kicks Off Manufacturing Week 2017

Bloomington, MN—September 22, 2017—Top metalforming industry suppliers will kick off Manufacturing Week 2017 by showcasing their capabilities and presenting the latest technologies at a Twin Cities Suppliers Night on October 3 at the Doubletree Bloomington — MPLS South, 7800 Normandale Blvd. in Bloomington, MN.  Hosted by the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) Twin Cities District, the table-top show will be a one-stop-shop for manufacturers looking to connect with suppliers and service providers to the stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming companies in the region.

“Exhibitor registration is already sold out for this year’s Twin Cities Suppliers Night,” said PMA Twin Cities District Chairman Todd Wenzel, president of TCR-Integrated Stamping Systems, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.  “This energy and enthusiasm reflects the recent uptick in our industry.  Manufacturers should not pass up this great opportunity to meet and talk with a diverse cross-section of suppliers.”

Twin Cities Suppliers Night is designed for a wide range of manufacturing industry personnel including business owners and managers, plant managers, shop foremen, engineers and sales executive.  Registration is free for attendees and is open now.  A full list of participating suppliers is available online.

Twin Cities Suppliers Night coincides with the start of Manufacturing Week 2017.  October 6 is Manufacturing Day, a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers and a nationwide effort to raise awareness about careers in the modern manufacturing sector.

Suppliers Night also comes one month before the annual FABTECH tradeshow, North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event.  Attendees will have a rare preview of the industry products and developments that will be on display at the show.

“As the U.S. manufacturing industry continues to rebound and drive the U.S. economy, it is more important than ever for manufacturers to build relationships with highly competitive and skilled suppliers. These suppliers offer cutting-edge competitive solutions to help our manufacturers maintain a competitive advantage in today’s global market,” Wenzel continued.  “This is a great event to build new business relationships and create stronger supply chains that allow for greater flexibility in sourcing manufactured products.”

Attendees at the Suppliers Night can also network over cocktails and appetizers.  Pre-registered attendees also will be eligible to win raffle prizes at drawings throughout the evening.
