The Southern New England District held an informative plant tour of one of the largest metal part processing operations in the northeast, Unimetal. The 42 attendees were introduced to a wide variety of processes for metal part cleaning, mechanical and chemical deburring, tumble blasting, reel-to-reel and barrel plating, bright dipping, passivation, critical parts cleaning, zinc and black oxide. Post-event networking was held at ClockTown Brewery.
