The governing power, control and management of the affairs of the association is vested in the board of directors.
Members of the board of directors typically first serve on PMA’s board of advisors, whose purpose is to have a valuable role in shaping the direction of the association, making recommendations for events, actions, programs, services and more to benefit the membership and industry. Each year in the August/September timeframe, PMA solicits members for interest in serving on the board of advisors.
Yes! There are many opportunities to get involved with PMA, including volunteering on your local district board; serving on a committee or task force such as government affairs, audit or others; or serving as a member of the PMA Educational Foundation board.
