Mauricio Pedroza is an ambitious aspiring mechanic, working toward a career in the automotive technology field. He has been passionate about learning how things work since a young age when he was often taking apart household items to understand their inner workings. This curiosity developed into a focused interest, and he began pursuing an education in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology during high school. Gaining hands-on experience operating different vehicles, interpreting wire diagrams and becoming familiar with vehicle inner workings has been an integral part of Mauricio’s academic journey.

Having the opportunity to work on several different types of projects, Mauricio discovered a passion for solving challenging problems and working with others to find efficient, sustainable, quality solutions. He hopes to improve this ability and continue to work to influence and change the manufacturing industry for the better. Mauricio’s passion for bettering the automotive industry and fostering an environment of continuous improvement exemplifies the dedication and drive he has used throughout his entire education and career so far.

Mauricio is working to obtain his degree in industrial engineering and pursuing advanced certifications in ASE. In the future, he hopes to open his own mechanic shop and serve in a leadership role where he can influence manufacturing practices and contribute positively to the manufacturing industry and community.
