PMAEF, in cooperation with participating PMA districts, offer scholarships to individuals seeking careers in the metalforming industry.
In 2022 PMAEF distributed $45,000 to 38 recipients in 8 of 14 participating districts, more than doubling the amount awarded in in 2021.
“The PMAEF/District Scholarship program was launched in 2020, canceled due to the pandemic, and relaunched in 2021,” says Randy Kish, PMA member engagement manager. “We are still in our infancy in growing scholarship support through our districts to the next generation of manufacturing professionals, yet we have awarded tens of thousands of dollars thus far. PMA has 17 districts across the United States, Canada and Mexico. As participation grows, the sky is the limit as to the impact our districts can make in fostering manufacturing careers.”
