CLEVELAND, OH—May 4, 2026—The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) today announced a leadership transition and new organizational structure designed to strengthen member engagement and position the association for continued growth.
PMA’s Board of Directors has appointed Mark Getsay as Managing Director. Getsay has served as PMA’s COO/CFO for more than six years and, for over three years, has also led the PMA Educational Foundation. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the association’s operations, finance and strategy, guiding PMA through its next phase of growth.
“Mark brings a deep understanding of PMA and the metalforming industry, along with a strong track record of leadership,” said Christopher Zuzick, Chair of the PMA Board of Directors. “His experience across the organization and his commitment to our members make him the right leader to strengthen the organization and position PMA for the future.”
As part of PMA’s continued strategic focus on strengthening membership value, the association is expanding its leadership team with the addition of an Executive Director of Membership and Engagement. Working closely with Managing Director Mark Getsay, this role will lead efforts to drive member recruitment, retention and engagement in support of PMA’s mission.
This leadership transition marks the next phase in PMA’s organizational evolution, introducing a more integrated structure designed to deepen member engagement and deliver greater value across the association.
“I’m honored to step into this role at such an important time for PMA and the industry,” said Getsay. “Building on a strong 80-year foundation, I’m excited to work with our team and Board to enhance member support, expand our impact and deliver even greater value in the years ahead.”
As part of PMA’s reorganization, Director of Meetings and Events Katlyn Stratis has been promoted to Executive Director of Member Services, where she will lead efforts to enhance the member experience and deliver high-impact programs.
“These changes reflect a clear focus on strategy and the future,” Zuzick added. “We are aligning our leadership structure to meet the evolving needs of our members and ensure PMA remains a strong, responsive partner to the industry.”
PMA is the full-service trade association representing the $137-billion metalforming industry of North America—the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies, and other value-added processes. Its more than 900 member companies also include suppliers of equipment, materials and services to the industry. PMA leads companies toward superior competitiveness and profitability through advocacy, networking, statistics, the PMA Educational Foundation, FABTECH tradeshows and MetalForming magazine.
