Ninth-annual awards recognize outstanding achievement in the metal forming and fabricating industries

CLEVELAND, OH—December 2, 2024—MetalForming magazine, in conjunction with the Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) and the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), has announced its 2024 Women of Excellence honorees, recognizing 61 outstanding women in the metal forming and fabricating industries (see list of honorees). This ninth-annual list is published in the December issue of MetalForming magazine and in a special, expanded online section at metalformingmagazine.com that includes biographical information.

“As you learn more about these highly successful women, from the content presented here and from the complementary information provided on our website, you’ll come away inspired—encouraged to seek opportunities to add women to your workforce, at every level, and to also look for opportunities to promote the deserving women already working for your company,” says MetalForming editorial director Brad Kuvin. “The women we honor in this issue own their own companies, serve as department heads, and they work on the shop floor as machine operators and supervisors, welders and safety officers. I find their stories very inspiring, and I hope you do as well.”

The Women of Excellence in Metal Forming and Fabricating program exists to recognize the vital role that women play in our industries, and to inspire the next generation to reap the rewards of a manufacturing career. MetalForming’s editorial staff, supported by PMA and WiM, recognized these women for their accomplishments in the industry, as well as a commitment to others in their careers and in their communities.

Efforts to increase manufacturing opportunities for women while recognizing their skills is an important function of PMA, MetalForming’s parent organization, and WiM, an organization that grew out of PMA’s commitment to these efforts.

“We are proud to congratulate the 2024 class of Women of Excellence in Metal Forming and Fabricating,” says Allison Grealis, WiM president and founder. “Our association is honored to partner on this initiative, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to shine a light on the incredible women who are blazing trails and leading the way for the future of manufacturing.”
