The 2026 Metalforming Micro-Grant Program is currently accepting applications through August 31, 2026, offering PMA member companies funding ranging from $500 to $1,000 to support projects that promote manufacturing and metalforming careers.
Help Build the Future Manufacturing Workforce
The manufacturing skills gap continues to challenge our industry, and PMAEF is committed to helping member companies develop innovative solutions. With $15,000 allocated for this year’s program, micro-grants are designed to support initiatives that increase awareness of manufacturing careers, engage students and strengthen talent pipelines.
Whether you’re organizing a Manufacturing Day event, hosting plant tours, partnering with schools or developing new outreach activities as part of your MFG Day efforts, this funding can help bring your ideas to life.
Areas of Interest
PMAEF is seeking projects and programs that:
- Expose youth (K-12) to manufacturing careers through company, school or community partnerships.
- Increase awareness and exposure to manufacturing and metalforming careers.
- Demonstrate innovative and creative approaches that can serve as models for other organizations.
- Foster strategic engagement with colleges, technical schools and trade schools.
- Build partnerships with other companies, community agencies or organizations.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to PMA (manufacturing and manufacturing supplier) member companies. Funding is awarded based on participation, innovation and potential impact on manufacturing workforce development.
