Recap: PMA Tennessee First-Annual “Taste of PMA” Speaker Series and Plant Tour, Hosted by Stamtec Presses

The PMA Tennessee District held its first-ever Taste of PMA metalforming industry speaker series and plant tour on January 27 at Stamtec.

The district brought together six powerful PMA presenters under the roof of Stamtec’s 72,000-sq.-ft. facility, located in Manchester, TN. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear from some of PMA’s highest-rated speakers and volunteer leaders, close to home. The district started attendees’ new year off on the right foot by blending presentations on core stamping topics, PMA benefits, and 2022 market and supply trends.

Between presentations, the district provided a BBQ lunch, catered by Praters BBQ, along with a plant tour of their host, Stamtec. It was a successful event and one that all metalforming professionals should look forward to!

“The Taste of PMA event was a huge success and extremely well attended…”

“We planned for 100 attendees, and it was nearly standing room only. The guest speakers and content made it possible. Perry Hytken and the PMA Tennessee District put together a powerhouse lineup and made sure to include topics that would have a broad appeal. It exposed attendees to a good cross-section of technical, management and economics presentations, which attracted a variety of interest. It was also a unique experience. In Tennessee, the weather can be unpredictable. On the day before the event, we setup a heated tent inside our facility. Our preparation paid off, keeping everybody warm, despite frigid outside temperatures.”
