Adam Bruner- St Paul College, CNC Toolmaking

Scholarship Amount:
  • Wisconsin District: $1,500
  • PMA Educational Foundation: $750
  • Total: $2,250

Adam Bruner has been working alongside toolmakers for the past 2.5 years and has developed a strong interest in pursuing this career path. He believes this profession will allow him to significantly grow his skills and abilities. Adam has always enjoyed using his talents to create objects that improve others’ ideas and processes.

After completing his program, Adam intends to use his resources to manufacture car parts for the drifting community. Having loved the sport for years, he aims to produce components that commonly break and are expensive, making them more affordable and durable. His goal is to provide these parts at drifting events to help others continue participating in the sport.

Adam earned a spot on the Dean’s List last semester and is on track to make the Dean’s List again. He works in a toolroom where molds are serviced, and he has applied his learned skills to manufacture components such as ejector pins and to grind blocks and inserts according to engineering specifications.

Receiving the scholarship has allowed Adam to invest his financial savings in building his business and purchasing essential components. It has also helped him begin paying off debts incurred during his schooling.

Congratulations, Adam! Best of luck to you!
