MA Member Spotlight: Wipfli—Driving Success for Metalformers
For more than 90 years, Wipfli has been a leading accounting and advisory firm, guiding manufacturers, retailers and distributors toward operational excellence, innovation and growth.
In 2015, Wipfli joined PMA with a threefold mission to connect, learn and support.
“We joined PMA to be able to interact with other metalformers,” says Laurie Harbour, partner at Wipfli. “We could learn about the industry, help support [other metalformers] through our services of operational improvement and strategic planning, and interact to be able to help them make better decisions and be better companies as they slog through some of the challenges in manufacturing today.”
Wipfli conducts the annual Metalforming Insights surveys for PMA members, as well as a two-day Strategic Assessment Program that involves an in-depth assessment within the facilities of PMA members.
“The benchmarks are really important to provide market intelligence to companies so that they can be more informed,” says Laurie. “What’s the competition doing? What’s happening in the market that we operate in? How do we adapt to that and improve our business?”
