2025 District Leadership Conference - Leadership Elevated. Engagement Celebrated!

On June 25-26, the 2025 PMA District Leadership Conference brought together 50 volunteer officers, staff and regional champions from across North America for two days of energy, alignment and action. With the theme “From the Top,” the event highlighted PMA’s national transformation and empowered district leaders with the vision, tools and support to lead locally.

PMA 2025 Chair Gene Lambert and PMA President David Klotz set the stage with insights on the association’s strategic priorities—member engagement, workforce development, and technology integration—and how districts will play a central role in bringing those goals to life. Attendees explored new digital resources, including a Salesforce-powered engagement platform and community boards to strengthen member connections. New membership engagement team members were introduced, along with a reimagined district management focus.

Throughout the event, attendees shared challenges and successes in volunteer development and member engagement, event planning, onboarding and community outreach. Face-to-face strategies, from plant tours to school visits, paired with practical social media tips to amplify district visibility and impact were discussed.

From big ideas to small wins, this year’s conference marked a powerful step forward—uniting leaders and elevating PMA’s future From the Top. For more information and to get more engaged with PMA districts, contact Randy Kish at rkish@pma.org.
