Using TCO to Buy and Sell Smarter

Of products now sourced offshore, 20 to 30% would be more profitably sourced domestically. TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is the key tool to objectively compare alternative sources to determine which items can be most profitably sourced domestically and which offshore. TCO was used by one contract manufacturer to win a $60 million order against a Chinese competitor.

The webinar will describe:

  • How to identify the products most eligible to reshore
  • How to use the TCO Estimator
  • The power of using TCO
  • Avoiding silos: involving the impact on other departments and budgets
  • Using TCO for selling against imports

Viewers are encouraged to first attend PMA’s December 1, 2022 webinar "Reshoring is Surging. How Your Company Can Benefit".

Join PMA and Harry Moser, president, Reshoring Initiative, on December 8 at 2:00 p.m. ET for a focused presentation on the importance and benefits of using TCO for profitably sourcing locally.
