Scholarships are an important part of providing financial support for students looking to pursue higher education. These funds enable students to obtain the education they may not have access to otherwise. At the Precision Metalforming Association Educational Foundation (PMAEF), we believe that scholarships are more than financial aid; they reward deserving students with the ability to advance their education and career. In addition, PMAEF-sponsored scholarships engage more young people in metalforming and allow them to explore what a career would look like in the field.

PMAEF, in cooperation with participating PMA districts, offer scholarships to individuals seeking careers in the metalforming industry. This spring, PMAEF distributed more than $28,000 to recipients in eight districts, nearly tripling the amount awarded last year.

“As more PMA districts have joined with PMAEF to offer these competitive scholarships, we’ve been thrilled with the results. PMA districts are proud to support the next generation of metalformers,” said Erin Riffle, PMAEF Program Manager.
