Twin Cities District: Learn About Your Press and its Defined Capacities

next event

Tuesday, September 18, 2018
Minneapolis, MN

EVENT DETAILS

Todd Wenzel, president of TCR Integrated Stamping Systems, will join the PMA Twin Cities District to present on press fundamentals and its defined capacities. Attendees will learn fundamental press-capacity characteristics that impact production, part quality and tool life.

Every press has a defined capacity for handling off-center load, concentrated load, tonnage above bottom, energy recovery and reverse load. Your team will learn what happens when tooling does not fit within press capacity, and how to overcome these challenges. Valuable troubleshooting skills learned can improve your stamping performance right away. Concepts learned also will help you properly size new stamping equipment.

This is a short course with a few select topics pulled from multiple presentations that Todd delivers during an annual two-day PMA national technical seminar. If you like what you gain from this brief session, watch the PMA calendar for your opportunity to send team members to the full seminar the next time it is presented as a PMA national seminar.
