Cleveland, OH—March 31, 2022—Top metalforming industry suppliers will showcase their capabilities and present the latest technologies at a Cleveland Suppliers Night on April 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The event is hosted by the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) Cleveland District and will be held at The Embassy Suites, 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd. N, Independence, OH 44131.

“It’s the same great suppliers night people have come to know for decades,” said PMA Cleveland District Chair Alex Millar. “We are glad to be back, not having hosted an event since 2019. To be out networking again and reconnecting will be special. We expect a strong turnout.”

More than 100 companies will showcase the latest products, technologies and services for manufacturers of metal formed and fabricated parts and assemblies. The Suppliers Night offers the perfect environment to find local and regional sources and enjoy networking close-to-home, conveniently and affordably. The event will attract manufacturers from northeast Ohio and along the Erie shores, from Toledo to Buffalo.

According to Michael Cesa, District Member-at-Large and Suppliers Night Chairman, “The annual suppliers night is the Cleveland District’s premier event, and has been missed over the last two years. We typically have more than 200 attendees, which doesn’t include the exhibitors, and we hope to see more people come out this year.”

The upcoming Suppliers Night is designed for a range of manufacturing industry personnel including business owners and managers, plant managers, shop foremen, engineers and sales executives. Registration is free for attendees and is open now

“There are so many good reasons to attend,” said Cesa. “I have either exhibited at, attended or organized suppliers nights since at least 1981. What makes these events popular is how they unite suppliers and manufacturers under one roof in a casual environment, without taking too much time. There is no pressure and no cost to attend. Hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and desserts are complimentary, and door prize raffles are held every 30 minutes. The exhibitors and sponsors make it happen so that we can bring our regional manufacturing community together.”

The Suppliers Night also is an opportunity for the district to restart several initiatives and activities that were put on hold by the pandemic. “We recently started a district scholarship program in cooperation with the PMA Educational Foundation, and we are consistently remaining active with a full program calendar,” said Millar. “The district will be hosting a Washington, D.C. update and its annual golf outing in early June.”
