PMA Launches Millennials’ Manufacturing Initiative: MFG NXT
PMA recently launched the MFG NXT initiative, which offers new and upcoming manufacturing leaders (executives, directors and senior managers) networking opportunities, a listserve and educational programming that reflect the expertise needed to effectively grow and succeed in manufacturing. MFG NXT is supporting a program on November 16, 2016 at FABTECH in Las Vegas. Anyone is welcome to attend and hear millennial expert Caitlin Andrews, Bracewell LLP, discuss how to become an ambassador of manufacturing and change the perception of the industry for the younger generations. The program begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center and concludes with a tour of the FABTECH show floor for first-time attendees. View program details and register to attend. ! This new website has been developed to highlight metalforming as an outstanding career option, as well as to provide resources to assist your company in showcasing our industry on Manufacturing Day and beyond. C4MC includes a newly produced video
that features employees who are passionate about their careers, brochures promoting careers in metalforming, resources to assist in planning a successful MFG Day event and more. C4MC will continue to be enhanced over time, with new content being added to educate parents and students about metalforming as a rewarding career, as well as to assist educators and employers in recruiting and attracting talent.
