Q: As PMA is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2017, what do you value most from being a member?

A: PMA has provided Quality Metal Stamping with a networking platform that has led to the development of strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with key players within the metalforming industry. The educational seminars and enlightening market information offered through PMA have positively impacted our workforce development strategy at Quality Metal Stamping.

Q: What is on your wish list for your shop this year and why?

A: The Quality Metal Stamping leadership team is looking to implement in-line automation and robotics to our stamping and assembly operations to improve efficiency metrics. A robust data-collection system and a 3D printer are in the works for 2017 as well.

Q: What do you see as a technology game-changer for metalformers?

A: 3D metal printing. The sky’s the limit on the technological advancements in this realm and how it can impact all areas of metalforming.
